Fentanyl, Firearms, Thousands In Cash Seized From Dynamic Spotsy-Fredericksburg Duo: Police
Firearms and a bevy of drugs were seized from men from Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg, authorities said. Fredericksburg officer Murphy was patrolling the area near the storefronts at Central Park Townhomes around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, when groups of people started dispersing quickly. Murphy saw several of them get into a car with an equipment violation, so he conducted a traffic stop on Fall Hill Avenue. Handgun Seized From Traveler By TSA Officers At Dulles International Airport
A troubling trend continued in the DMV region as another traveler attempted to slip a handgun through security and onto a flight at an area airport. TSA officers at Washington Dulles International Airport were able to catch a Tennessee man from bringing a loaded .380 caliber handgun with six bullets and an additional seven bullets that were packed in a magazine alongside the weapon. TSA Catches Man With Loaded Magazines, Handgun At Reagan National Airport
A Tennessee man who tried boarding a flight at Reagan National Airport with a gun and loaded magazines was stopped thanks to Transportation Security Administration agents. The man had a .40 caliber unloaded gun at the airport on Saturday, April 15, TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein said. While the gun was not loaded, he had two loaded magazines with 19 bullets packed alongside the weapon. The firearm was caught as the man entered the security checkpoint.
