Hidden Cameras Found In Bathrooms Of Popular Fairfax County Cafe
Police ere are investigating a pair of hidden cameras found in bathrooms of a Falls Church cafe earlier this month. The discoveries were made in the bathrooms of Northside Social on Park Ave., city police said. A customer was the one who noticed a pen-like device placed under the sink and facing a toilet in one of the eatery's first-floor restrooms, authorities said. The customer turned the device over to a restaurant employee. An identical device was found in a similar hiding spot inside the adjacent first floor restroom immediately after, police said. A 28-year-old man is being sought in the murder of a 30-year-old woman in Prince William County, police said. The body of Taty’ana Zakiyyah Cooks was found in a trash collection truck while searching for her on Friday, March 22, Prince William County police said. Brendon Devon White, 30, was arrested in connection with the crime by Newport News police, according to county police. Police have arrested a suspected shooter more than five months after a 54-year-old woman was found dead in Northeast DC, authorities announced. Southeast DC resident Bobby Gupton, 25, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed in connection to the fatal shooting of Tavonayna Glenn, who has no fixed address, in June, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Arrest Made Shopping Center Shooting, Additional Suspects Possible: Loudoun Sheriff
Police have made an arrest in a Loudoun County shopping plaza shooting. Richard Edmundson, of no fixed addressed, is believed to have shot one person in the parking lot of the Dulles Retail Plaza in Sterling on Nov. 27, the county sheriff said. Police believe there was more than one individual involved in this incident, and the identification of the additional individuals remains under investigation. Police in Arlington arrested a 21-year-old man for sexually assaulting a juvenile in 2020, they said. Matthew Coble, of Reston, was charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child and production of child porn, on Friday, Oct. 13. Police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old tech CEO in Baltimore. Authorities say Pava LaPere died of blunt force trauma in an apartment on the 300 block of West Franklin Street, police in Baltimore said.
