Men Arrested For Kidnapping, Crime Spree In Southeast DC, Police Say
Members of the Metropolitan Police Department have arrested two men who were wanted for committing violent crimes in DC over the weekend.
At around 1:20 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, officers from the department were called to the 3000 block of 30th Street SE, where there was a reported kidnapping involving a man who was robbed at knifepoint, assaulted, and held against his will in an area apartment.

DC Man Cops To Crossing Into Maryland To Rob Bank, Police Pursuit, Sheriff Says
A District man may spend decades behind bars after crossing into Southern Maryland, robbing a Calvert County bank and fleeing from police with some friends, authorities announced.
Silas Moore, 37, admitted to his role in the May robbery of M&T Bank in Dunkirk that resulted in a high-speed pursuit with deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators say that on Monday, May 1, Moore walked into the bank and handed one of the tellers a note demanding cash while brandishing a handgun.

An armed 7-Eleven robber was taken into custody in Loudoun County this week, police said.
Deandre G. Tyer, 29, went into the store at 21880 Ryan Center Way in Ashburn around 11:10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, flashed a handgun, and took an undisclosed number of items before fleeing the store on foot, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
Tyer fled on foot but was soon found in the parking garage of the Ashburn Metro Station, police said.

Two carjackers and brothers were arrested after leading an Interstate 95 pursuit through Spotsylvania County with an 18-month-old child in the stolen vehicle, police said.
Larique E. Leach, 18, of Maryland, and Larry Leach, 22, of Washington DC, were both being held without bond in the Rappahannock Regional Jail, Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Major Troy J. Skebo said.

A Virginia pair has been charged in an armed robbery.
Cresty Villeda, 23, and Adrian Barett Barett, 20, both of Woodbridge, wereeach charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, Prince William County police said.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, made arrangements to meet a female acquaintance on the 14300 block of Westway Lane in Woodbridge the evening of Thursday, Aug. 24, police said.
