Racial Slurs Found Etched Into Table At Virginia High School: Police

Authorities are investigating a disturbing case of vandalism at a Prince William County school after racial slurs were found etched into a classroom table, officials said.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 8 a.m., the School Resource Officer at Brentsville High School, located in the 12000 block of Aden Road, was alerted to the vandalism, according to police.

Investigators from the Prince William County Police Department determined that the hateful markings, which contained no threats, had been scratched into the countertop of a table. 

School staff promptly removed the graffiti, officials said.

No additional markings were reported, and the investigation is ongoing to identify the individual responsible.
