Hudson Valley Dealer Admits Selling Fentanyl, Causing 3 Deaths, 3 Overdoses
A Hudson Valley man has admitted in court that he sold fentanyl that resulted in three deaths and three overdoses, according to Damian Williams, US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
The incidents occurred in Rockland County between Feb. 2020 and April 2022.
Williams said Justin Turnick, age 25, of Congers, pled guilty to distributing the fentanyl causing the deaths and overdoses on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in US District Court.
“Justin Turnick’s actions didn’t just facilitate addiction—they fueled a crisis that claimed lives and inflicted unimaginable suffering," Willaims said.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a series of alleged carjacking, robberies, and kidnappings in Westchester.

A man has been charged with allegedly traveling to attempt to rape a Hudson Valley 13-year-old girl at an area hotel.

A Hudson Valley alleged drug dealer has been charged in connection with the overdose deaths of four people.
Dutchess County resident Allen Peloquin, aka "Ace," age 34, of Poughkeepsie, was taken into custody on Thursday, March 31.

A Westchester doctor who practiced in Manhattan has been sentenced to five years in prison for taking bribes from drug companies for prescribing fentanyl.

Federal authorities have captured two men wanted for robbing luxury watches at gunpoint from, among others, a close reality-TV friend of Kim Kardashian’s known as "Foodgod" in Englewood Cliffs.
