Duo Nabbed After Driver Held At Gunpoint In Schenectady, Police Say
Two people have been charged after they allegedly held a taxi driver in the Capital Region at knifepoint and stole money, causing injuries.
Schoharie County residents James R. Parker, age 26, and Nicole Zielinski, age 50, both of Cobleskill, were charged on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, an investigation determined Zielinski and Parker were being transported by a taxi in Schenectady when Parker allegedly held the driver at knifepoint against their will.

The man seen hurling dogs over the fence of the Atlantic County Animal Shelter has been arrested, police said,
Jahlil McNeal, 23, of Atlantic City, was identified by city police as the man captured in disturbing footage throwing dogs over the fence at the county animal shelter and leaving.
McNeal has been charged with four counts of cruelty to animals, failure to provide care to animals, two counts theft of services, and witness tampering.

Clifton PD: Irate Restaurant Patron Fights Staff, Responding Officers
A Clifton restaurant patron upset with his bill broke a bottle of alcohol, head-butted an employee, then fought with police who eventually subdued him, authorities said.
Martin Castillo-Valdizan, 52, “refused to pay his bill when it was brought to him and became irate with restaurant staff” at El Mexicano Restaurant on Main Avenue, Sgt. Robert Anderson said.
“At one point, he picked up a bottle of alcohol and broke it on the bar,” Anderson added.
An employee who tried to calm him down was then head-butted in the face, the sergeant said.
