Five people were arrested across Albany in an ongoing investigation on Friday, July 10, according to police.
Cops searched two residences and found an illegal ghost gun and two high-capacity magazines, the Albany Police Department said.
Two of the suspects were teenagers — one 15-year-old boy and one 14-year-old boy — who were both released after their initial arrests and set to appear in family court at a later date, authorities said.

The incident leading to the arrest began just after 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, when officers began interviewing four teenagers on Pershing Avenue in Poughkeepsie, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department said on Wednesday, May 27.

A Vineland woman was found dead inside her home and a 17-year-old has been charged in connection with her killing, authorities said.
Police responded around 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, to a report of a possible homicide on Union Road, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. There, they found Christina Asselta, 38, dead with multiple stab wounds, the prosecutor said.
