A man who had recently been evicted from a South Jersey home returned to the home to kill the landlord before taking his own life less than a mile away, just after a separate shooting in a nearby town on Wednesday, June 10, authorities said.
Lumberton police responded to a report of a shooting on Curry Court at approximately 4:15 p.m., where arriving officers found Damon Nesmith, 53, dead inside the home, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L.
