Atlantic City police arrested a man amid a mental health crisis who pointed a handgun at a woman.
Troy Williams, 45, of Atlantic City. was charged with weapons offenses, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and possession of drugs, police said.
On Wednesday, July 5, at 1:52 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 300 block of Rosemont Place in reference to a woman being held against her will, and the suspect was armed with a handgun.

A D.C. man was apprehended after remaining on a rooftop in a long standoff with officers, officials said.
On September 7, at around 4 p.m., police arrived at the scene in the 1200 block of Jefferson Street, to find the suspect, who fired multiple shots at the officers and forcibly entered a nearby residence, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
