Trio Accused Of Restaurant Slashing, Assault Arrested: Ycrpd
Three men are in custody following an assault at a resort's restaurant, York County Regional Police announce on Thursday, Aug. 29.
Shawntay Handy, 49, T Kwon Banks, 20, and Tyjyre Stern, 18, were arrested on warrants on Tuesday, Aug. 27, the YCRPD explained.
The warrants were issued following an investigation into an assault involving a knife in the restaurant at Heritage Hills Golf Resort located at 2700 Mount Rose Avenue in York Township at 1:27 a.m. on June 1, 2024, as detailed in the release.

UPDATE: Surveillance cameras at CNBC corporate headquarters in Bergen County captured images of a Middlesex County man stabbing a woman in the parking lot, authorities said.
The 30-year-old victim was leaving the Sylvan Avenue (Route 9W) facility shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, when Harshkuma H. Patel, 29, of Piscataway, approached her in the parking lot, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
The accused assailant, who 'd previously been seen hanging around the area, tapped on the woman's car window in the CNBC parking lot, sources said.

A Downingtown man is accused of attacking a woman with a knife at a West Chester bar early Sunday morning, Dec. 3, according to authorities.
The victim was inside Kildare's Pub on West Gay Street when 24-year-old Mark Kowalsky pulled out a blade and slashed her across the hand, police said.
He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime, and reckless endangerment, said WCPD.

A 22-year-old armed man was shot by Maryland State Police troopers after lunging at them with a knife Friday, Aug. 18, authorities said.
A four-year veteran of the MSP and a trooper who recently graduated from the MPS academy approached responded to a home in the 44000 block of West Mervell Court in Hollywood, just before 11 p.m., State Police said.

A 21-year-old man who allegedly robbed a Long Island Walmart store and injured an employee has been arrested, according to authorities.
Officers responded to the Valley Stream Walmart, located at 77 Green Acres Road, on Tuesday, May 2 at approximately 1:10 p.m. in regards to a reported robbery.

A Connecticut man is behind bars after throwing a knife that stabbed his roommate in the buttocks.
The incident took place around 8 p.m., Friday, March 26, in New Haven.
Officers responded to a home for a report that Trevor Campbell, age 26, of New Haven, had assaulted his roommate with the knife, said New Haven Police Captain Anthony Duff.

A Northern Westchester man was arrested for allegedly threatening a person with a knife and pushing them to the ground,
Muhammed Nagani, 62, of Yorktown was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 29, by Yorktown Police, after officers responded to a home for a report of domestic violence, police said.
