Truck Overturns On I-287 In Rye (Developing) A truck landed on its side on Interstate 287 in Westchester.  The crash happened on Thursday, Feb. 13 just before 10 a.m., when a box truck overturned on Interstate 287 East near the Exit 12 ramp to Interstate 95 South, according to New York State Police.  Two people inside the truck were able to get themselves out with minor injuries. SUV Goes Up In Flames On I-287 In Purchase A lane of a busy interstate in Westchester was temporarily blocked after flames engulfed a vehicle.  The blaze happened on Interstate 287 West in Purchase on Tuesday, Sept. 17 around 5:30 a.m., when an SUV caught on fire, according to the Purchase Fire Department.  Arriving crews found the vehicle in the right lane at mile marker 7.5 and soon put the fire out.  No injuries were reported and the vehicle was later towed from the area.

The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 northbound near Exit 4 (Durham Road) in South Plainfield, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to a motorist aid, said Sgt.
