Dangerous Air Quality Levels Reported, New 1,800-Acre Wildfire Burns In West Milford
Three active wildfires in New Jersey are keeping firefighters busy this weekend as the air quality continues to worsen.
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service is working to contain fires in West Milford, Pompton Lakes, and Englewood Cliffs (scroll for details on each one).

Maryland State Police ID MA, NJ Women Killed In Crash, Virginia Victim Airlifted To Hospital
Two people were killed and a third was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash in Charles County, state police confirmed.
On Thursday, police said that Norma Matthews, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Virginia Licata, 86, of Blackwood, NJ, have been identified as the pair killed in a crash on July 24 that shut down Route 301 for hours.
The other driver, King George, Virginia resident Caitlynn Connell, 28, was also flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

Robert Sivori, who served in the Emergency Services Unit of the New York City Police Department died on Sunday, July 7 ,five days before his 43rd birthday, according to his obituary on the Matthew Funeral Home website.

Helicopter, Drone Respond To Disturbance At Briarcliff Manor Residence
Authorities are investigating a disturbance at a Northern Westchester residence that prompted an intense police response utilizing a helicopter, drone, and a K9 unit.
The incident that prompted the activity began on Thursday evening, Feb. 1 at a residence in Briarcliff Manor on Tuttle Road, where a disturbance was reported to Briarcliff Manor Police, the department announced on Friday, Feb. 2.
