Stafford resident Aubrey Collier, 43, learned this lesson the hard way after being taken into custody by the Stafford County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team on Thursday, Dec. 12 when the wanted man made the mistake of returning to the scene of an incident earlier this week.
The saga began Wednesday, Dec. 11, around 5:45 a.m., when deputies responded to reports of a disturbance near Forbes Street and Morton Road.

Three felons are facing charges following an operation in Southern Maryland that led to the recovery of weapons, a massive amount of drugs, and cash, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office announced on Friday.
A yearlong investigation into reported drug sales in the region led to the arrests of the trio, and the seizure of cocaine, weed, pills, and weapons.

John Kevin Fitzgerald Reed, 60, of Charlotte Hall;
James Nathaniel Reed, 77, of Mechanicsville;

A search of Loudoun County man's home turned up a substantial amount of cash, cocaine, scales, firearms, and more, local police said.
Nicholas T. Roach, 28, was stopped around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8 on Plaza Street NE by officers on foot as he appeared to be under the influence, police in Leesburg said.
Roach was arrested for public intoxication and, after conducting a search incident to arrest, officers found a large amount of cash and drugs on him, authorities said.

Raquan Brown, of the Bronx, was arrested Saturday, April 13, in New Haven County in Milford when the Milford Police Department received a complaint from the Milford Inn regarding a man with a firearm.

Two men have been charged with the fatal shooting of a teenager in 1993 in Worcester County, authorities announced on Monday, March 25.
