New Amazon Fresh Stores Set To Open On Long Island New grocery options are coming for consumers on Long Island as Amazon plans to expand its grocery store operation on the East Coast. The online retail giant reportedly has plans to open Amazon Fresh grocery stores on Nesconset Highway in East Setauket, on Long Beach Road in Oceanside, and on Manetto Hill Road in Plainview. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, when the victim was shopping at the Fairway Market in Westbury, said the Nassau County Police. Jac. Vanderberg, a fruit distributor located in Yonkers, has issued a recall of 1,727 cartons of fresh peaches, 1,207 cartons of fresh nectarines and 365 cartons of fresh plums because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
