Man Bites Woman, Dog Bites Man During Violent Waldorf Assault, Sheriff Says
A violent domestic assault in Waldorf turned bizarre and brutal when a Clinton man allegedly bit a woman in the face, only to have his own dog turn on him, leaving both with serious injuries, according to the Charles County Sheriff's Office.
Officers responded to a home on Sherman Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, for a domestic assault in progress involving a man, woman, and a dog.
Inside the home, officials say the officers found a woman in the hallway with severe facial injuries, police said.

Swastika, Inappropriate Images Found Inside Classroom At Virginia High School: Police
A disturbing act of vandalism has prompted an investigation at Patriot High School in Nokesville after inappropriate images, including a swastika, were found inside a classroom.
The incident was reported to the School Resource Officer on Monday, Dec. 11, according to the Prince William County Police Department, and the officer discovered the symbols drawn on a partition inside the classroom, police said.
The markings, which included the swastika and other inappropriate images, did not contain threats directed at students or staff, authorities noted.
