An unresponsive infant was found at a Middletown home on the 200 block of East Main Street on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 26, the same day Daily Voice obtained court documents on the case.
The child, a 2-month-old girl, was pronounced dead at Hershey Medical Center after emergency responders performed CPR. Authorities allege the baby’s mother, 25-year-old Jenna Beachley, was intoxicated when she co-slept with the child, resulting in her death.

A mother of two who has been missing since last weekend was found dead in a wooded area in Haverhill, authorities said.
Carol Flaz-Burgos, 37, of Lawrence, was reported missing on Saturday, Aug. 31. Searchers found her body near Winnekenni Castle beside Kenoza Lake in Haverhill earlier this week.
Friends said she walked outside to throw away a bag of trash at her Broadway Street home and never returned. Her son called 911, which sparked the massive search.

PA Mom Charged With Attempted Homicide Of Baby, Prosecutors Say
A Lansford woman is accused of "causing significant harm" to her infant, said the Northampton County District Attorney's Office.
Abigail Horn, 18, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, prosecutors wrote in a release.
Witnesses told Bethlehem police in May that they saw Horn "smothering" the then-6-week-old child, according to authorities. Others said Horn caused the baby to "scream and gasp for air," and on a separate occasion, "squeezed the infant and caused the infant to scream in apparent pain."

A Lehigh County jury convicted Rami Abouloh for the murder of Patricia White, with whom he had four children, the District Attorney's Office said Friday, May 31.

Latif Williams shot and killed Samuel Collington while he unloaded his car in 2021, a Philadelphia court has found.
Williams, 19, was convicted of third-degree murder and related counts following a one-day, said the District Attorney's Office in a release.
