A man has been indicted for allegedly attacking a woman at a Long Island Days Inn hotel, raping her, and stealing valuables, including jewelry and cash.
Isaih Giles, age 26, address unknown, was arraigned Thursday, March 31 for the attack which took place in April 2021 in Nassau County in Woodbury.
According to the indictment, on Thursday, April 22, 2021, allegedly placed his foot in the doorway of the victim’s hotel room door to prevent the door from closing.

A 20-year-old woman visiting North Carolina for bible camp was killed a hotel room, according to authorities.
Police are looking for Quincy Cheeks Hannah, 26, of York, Pennsylvania, in connection with the murder, according to a release by the Davies County sheriff's office.
Investigators were called to assist two other people whose cell phones were missing at the Days Inn motel in located in the 1500 block of Yadkinville Road in Mocksville, North Carolina on Monday around at 9:50 p.m., according to the release.

A would-be customer who thought he was patronizing a prostitute at a Wayne motel got robbed, instead, after the hooker let in a pair of armed companions – all of whom were later caught, authorities said.
The victim told police he’d met a woman at the Days Inn on Route 23 “for the purpose of paying her for sex,” Detective Capt. Dan Daly said Tuesday.

The man who stuck a gun into a woman’s neck carjacked her vehicle and went on a crime spree has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Arno Smith, 57, of Hartford, pleaded guilty to one charge of a Hobbs Act robbery, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Connecticut, said. Hobbs applies in instances of interstate or foreign attempted or real robbery.
