22-Year-Old Man Killed, Brother 16, Injured Following Crash Into Tree: York County Coroner

A 22-year-old man has been identified following a crash into a tree on Sunday, August 7.

Kyle A. Denny of the 200 Block of Greenfield Street, Manchester was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Gut Road of East Manchester Township at 5:38 a.m. by deputy Coroner Karen Frank.

He apparently lost control of his vehicle while going around a curve, between 2nd Street and Wago Road, hitting a tree around 4:52 a.m., according to the coroner's release.

Two passengers in his vehicle were hospitalized, according to the office. One of the victims was his 16-year-old brother, according to his mom.

An autopsy will not be performed but a routine toxicology test will be conducted, according to the coroner's office.

Denny was a manager at McDonald's, a former ROTC member, according to his Facebook profile page.

His last public Facebook post before his passing was made years ago but is telling about the thoughtful person he was and how people want to be remembered, it reads:  "You can only keep someone in your head so long till you start to miss them again."

His friends and family have already been sharing about their sudden loss on social media writing about what a good listener and deeper thinker he was.

His funeral will be at Gladfelter Funeral Home on Monday, August 15 from 4-6 p.m., according to his family.
