Traffic Advisory In Effect As VP Harris Visits Berks County Expect minor delays around Berks County Tuesday morning, Sept. 19, as Vice President Kamala Harris makes her way into Reading, authorities say.  The VP is stopping by Reading Area Community College as part of her "Fight for Our Freedoms" college tour, according to the White House website.  Reading police say to expect traffic delays and a large police presence near 2nd and Penn streets between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Pedestrian Killed On Schuylkill Expressway In Philadelphia: PSP A pedestrian's death on the Schuylkill Expressway early Friday morning, Sept. 15, was confirmed by state police to Daily Voice.  The victim was fatally struck near the intersection with Spring Garden Street around 3 a.m., according to Trooper Michele Naab.  Their name was not released pending notification of loved ones, she added.  PSP continues to investigate.

Major Delays Reported Along Route 80 Just Over PA Border Major delays were being reported along Route 80 in Warren County, NJ Saturday morning, Aug. 19. It wasn't immediately clear what was causing the 25-minute delays (at least) through Hardwick Township near the Delaware Water Gap. Photos captured by the DOT camera showed traffic piled up along the westbound side of the highway at NJ-94, at 10:55 a.m. Motorists were encouraged to find another route — or settle into bumper-to-bumper jams.

Deadly Crash On I-78 In Pennsylvania: State Police A driver died after losing control of their car and hitting a guard rail early on Monday, Aug. 14, Pennsylvania State Police detailed in a release.  The crash happened on Interstate 78 in Tilden Township just before 3 a.m., troopers wrote in a report.  The driver was eastbound when their car veered off the south side of the road and hit the rail, according to investigators. VA Man ID'd As Victim Killed In I-78 Crash A 22-year-old Virginia man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on a Pennsylvania highway over the weekend, authorities said. Evan Dennison, of Berryville, was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township, on Sunday, July 23, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Dennison was pronounced dead at the scene, at 2:53 p.m. All westbound lanes were closed for several hours. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.
