Lehigh Valley Sunday School Teacher, Devoted Mom Of 4 Dies Suddenly, 29 Lehigh Valley Sunday school teacher and devoted wife and mother Christy Snyder-Padula Smith died unexpectedly at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono on Monday, Aug. 15. She was 29. Born in Allentown, Christy attended Northampton High School, where she played softball, marched and played flute in band, and danced with Steps in Time of Allentown before graduating in 2011, her obituary says. Christy then went on to attend Northampton Community College and play softball for Northampton AA and Allen Township, according to her memorial.
