Crash Shuts Down Route 422 In Exeter Township Exeter police responded to a crash on Route 422 on Wednesday afternoon, June 12.  Authorities said it happened near Daniel Boone Road around 2:30 p.m.  "Motorists should expect the road to be closed for an extended period of time," Exeter police said.  WFMZ reports a Minersville woman died as a result of the crash. Daily Voice has reached out to the Berks County Coroner's Office for details.

26-Year-Old Driver Dead In Overnight Lehigh Valley Crash: Coroner A 26-year-old driver died in an overnight Lehigh Valley crash, officials said. Kendy V. Acosta-Gomez, of Whitehall Township, was driving on the 400 block of Basin Street in Allentown when his car left the roadway and struck a tree, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. It happened around 3:35 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26. Acosta-Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was Multiple Blunt Force Injuries due to Motor Vehicle Accident. The manner of death is was Accidental, Buglio said.

Philadelphia Resident Dies In Crash On Atlantic City Expressway (Photos) A 36-year-old Philadelphia resident died in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway Tuesday, May 23, authorities said. A vehicle heading west on the highway ran off the road, struck several trees, and overturned around 3 p.m. near milepost 33.3 in Winslow Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. A passenger in the vehicle, Percell Gray, died, while the driver suffered serious injuries, Marchan said. Winslow Township firefighters posted photos of the scene to Facebook.
