Bethlehem native and Penn State graduate Andrea Marie Dolak died on Thursday, Nov. 10 after a fearless battle with colon cancer. She was 38. Andrea attended Freedom High School, where she participated in the Marching Band and the Fife & DrumCorps and sang in chorus before graduating with the class of 2002, her obituary says. A Dauphin County judge denied a compassionate release for an inmate dying of inoperable Stage 4 colon cancer who is serving a life sentence for murder, says PennLive.
