A New Jersey homicide with Virginia ties will be detailed in a new Lifetime movie, set for release later this year. "Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story," premiers June 18. The movie is a retelling of how the mom of two and ex-fertility nurse, of Woodbridge, killed her husband to continue an alleged affair. Hunterdon County father and Lehigh Valley Hospital worker John Paul Hopkins died Feb. 7 at the age of 36. Hopkins graduated from Phillipsburg High School and completed an Associates in Applied Science degree in Radiography at Northampton Community College, his obituary says. Hopkins worked as a radiology technician at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury, PA and lived in Clinton at the time of his death, his memorial says.
