Driver Extricated And Flown To Hospital As Car Veers Off Rt. 80 Into Woods, State Police Say A driver was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries after veering off Route 80 and into the woods during the afternoon on Monday, Oct. 17, state police said. Troopers responding to the crash near milepost 21 in Allamuchy Township found that an Infiniti FX3 ran off the eastbound lanes and into the woods around 3:45 p.m., NJSP Sgt. 18-Year-Old Dies Day After ATV Crash In Warren County, State Police Say An 18-year-old Hackettstown resident died after an ATV crash in Warren County over the weekend, state police confirmed. Jose Carlos Perez Garcia was riding a Suzuki ATV off-road when it overturned near Gibbs Road in Allamuchy Township just before 3:45 p.m. Saturday, NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. Garcia was taken to Morristown Hospital and pronounced dead the following day, Curry said. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.

PD: Disorderly Warren County Man, 51, ‘Repeatedly’ Shouted Racial Slurs At Applebee’s Bartender A Warren County man was charged with disorderly conduct after repeatedly yelling racial slurs directed at an Applebee’s bartender, police said. Jeffrey Becker of Allamuchy Township became disrespectful toward the bartender at Applebee’s on Mountain Avenue in Hackettstown around 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 31, local police said. Becker, 51, had just been asked to leave the restaurant when he began shouting racial slurs repeatedly, police said. Becker was subsequently arrested outside the restaurant and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct. He was released pending an appearance in court.
