Body Found In Wissahickon Creek: Philadelphia Police A man was found dead in the Wissahickon Creek in Philadelphia Tuesday morning, April 16, according to city police.  Authorities said the body was found near the 5000 block of Ridge Avenue around 7 a.m., across from the SEPTA loop.  The remains were those of an unidentified man between 25 and 30, police said. While the body "appears to have been in the water for a while," there was "no visible trauma," they added.

Devil's Pool Claims Life Of Man In Philadelphia The body of a drowned 38-year-old man was recovered from Wissahickon Creek in Philadelphia Friday, June 16, authorities said Daily Voice. The man was walking across the creek at Devil’s Pool when he fell in around 6:05 p.m., Philadelphia police said. His body was recovered approximately one hour later and he was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Friends of Wissahickon website, Devil's Pool is a natural basin that's 15 feet deep and 25 feet wide.
