Suspects Named In 11-Year-Old's Allentown Shooting: DA Authorities are looking for two men after an 11-year-old boy was shot in the head in Allentown last Thursday, June 13.  The Lehigh County District Attorney's Office says Renee Brown Jr., 20, and Jahliel Branford, 18, are both wanted on arrest warrants.  According to investigators, Brown and Branford opened fire at a group of people near North Nagle and West Allen streets. Allentown Shooting Sends 'Juvenile' To Hospital, Police Say A juvenile was shot and injured in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, June 13, city police say.  Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD.  First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said. His injuries "do not appear to be life-threatening at this time."  The shooting is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 610-437-7721.

Arrest Made In Deadly 2022 Allentown Shooting A suspect is in custody for an Allentown murder nearly two years ago, says the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.  Steven Michael Rosa is charged with criminal homicide for the shooting death of Tywon Abner, according to prosecutors.  Authorities said Abner, 33, was shot in the chest on West Allen Street on July 28, 2022. He succumbed to his wound and his death was ruled a homicide by the county Coroner's Office.  Rosa, 30, is also charged with persons not to possess a firearm due to a previous conviction for robbery, the DA's Office said.  He is being held with…

PA Man Killed Neighbor In Self Defense: Report A Pennsylvania man who fatally shot his neighbor earlier this year in the Lehigh Valley will not be charged, LehighValleyLive reports. The unidentified man, who legally owns a firearm, was defending himself on Feb. 10 when he shot 36-year-old Vincent Bynum, of Allentown, the outlet says citing Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin.
