Driver Airlifted From Crash Scene On Route 422 In Montgomery County A driver was airlifted after their car flipped on Route 422 in Montgomery County on Sunday night, authorities said. Rescue crews with the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Collegeville Fire Company were called to Route 422 eastbound at mile marker 185.3 around 10:05 p.m. on a report of a driver trapped in an overturned car blocking both lanes, fire officials said. Additional crews with the Royersford Fire Department were called to the scene to assist with the driver rescue. Fire Crews Battle Weekend Car Fire, Collison, On Route 422 In Montgomery County Fire crews battled a car fire and collision over the weekend on Route 422 in Montgomery County. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a car bursting with flames on the shoulder of the westbound side Sunday night, according to the Royersford Fire Company. Royersford and Black Rock fire crews blocked one lane of the highway as the fire was extinguished, authorities said. As crews were clearing the scene, a car crash was reported on the eastbound side, authorities said. The cars in the collision sustained minor damage, authorities said. No injuries were reported in either incident.

4-Car, Tractor Trailer Crash Jams Route 422 A four-car crash involving a tractor-trailer jammed the westbound side of Route 422 in Montgomery County Thursday afternoon. The trailer reportedly went through a guardrail and into the eastbound lanes around 2:50 p.m. near mile marker 170 in Limerick Township, reports show. The trailer was apparently blocking both sides of the highway, according to initial reports.  A sedan and two other cars were also involved, according Pennsylvania State Trooper William Butler.
