Driver Sought In Deadly Northeast Philly Hit-Run A 42-year-old man is dead following a hit-and-run in Rhawnhurst, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice.  The fatal crash happened on the 7600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard just after midnight on Monday, Sept. 18, authorities said.  The victim was found unresponsive in the northbound middle lane and pronounced dead at the scene, they added. Police did not report his name.  The suspect vehicle is described as a Toyota Prius between model years 2010 and 2015, based on parts recovered from the scene.  The crash remains under investigation, PPD said.

3 Hurt After SEPTA Trolley Crashes Into Historic Home Three people were reportedly injured when an out-of-service SEPTA trolley derailed and crashed into a historic Philadelphia home, transit authorities confirmed to Daily Voice.  It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, a SEPTA spokesperson said.  The trolley was coming from SEPTA’s Elmwood Depot when it came off the tracks and hit a vehicle before crashing into the home at 7303 Woodland Avenue, according to authorities.  Two people in the struck car were hurt, as well as a mechanic who was riding on the trolley, SEPTA said.
