Authorities have named three suspects in the Norristown killing of William G. Carter. Damon Brantley Jr., 18, Daquan Allen, 29, and Jerry Butler, 28, are all wanted on murder and robbery charges, said the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. Montgomery County detectives are looking for the gunmen who robbed 35-year-old William Grover Carter before shooting him dead on a Norristown street Saturday night, Jan. 20, prosecutors say. 'Skimming' Devices Found On Montco ATMs, Police Warn
Authorities in Montgomery County have discovered "skimming devices" attached to ATMs in at least three locations, and are warning area residents to keep vigilant. Norristown police announced finding the first devices late Monday, March 6. The "skimmers" were affixed to ATMs at a pair of 7-Elevens, at 708 East Johnson Highway and 1335 Sandy Hill Road, the department said. Police Seek Answers, ID Victim In Fatal Norristown Shooting
Police have released the identity of the man shot dead in Norristown, but have not yet named a suspect. First responders were called to the 900 block of West Main Street at around 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21 for reports of shots fired, said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele in a release. There, officers found 35-year-old Tyrone Guy of Philadelphia lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, the DA said.
