They belonged to 34-year-old Isaias Hernandez-Geronimo, said Coroner Janine Darby at a press conference on Tuesday, July 30.

The remains were discovered by a surveyor in a wooded area near the retention basin on Welsh Road, officials said previously. There were "no initial indications of trauma or foul play discovered at the scene," authorities said at the time.

Hernandez-Geronimo was identified using DNA testing, Darby told reporters Tuesday. He had "recently moved to the US" and is survived by a wife and children, she said.

"At this time the cause and manner of death is undetermined," Darby said. "We extended our deepest sympathies to Isais' family and friends during this difficult time."

There is "nothing indicating suspicious activity" in his death, she added.
