1 Airlifted In Towamencin Township Crash A pickup truck driver was airlifted to the hospital in a Towamencin Township crash Wednesday, authorities said. A 2010 Acura TL and a 2018 Ford F-150 pick-up truck collided at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Wambold Road around 4:55 p.m., Police Chief Timothy Troxel said. The Ford then left the roadway and struck a traffic signal standard, police said. The Ford driver was airlifted by Jeff Stat 2 medevac helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital, where he is was listed in stable condition as of Thursday, Troxel said.
