Allentown Police Seek Driver In Deadly Hit-Run Authorities were looking for a driver who took off after fatally striking a pedestrian overnight Tuesday, Feb. 15 in Allentown. The driver of a white Acura TSX hit a pedestrian at 17th Street and Sumner Avenue just after 3 a.m., Allentown police said. The victim was taken by EMS to an area hospital where they died, police said. The pedestrian’s identity is pending notification of next of kin. 3 Hospitalized In Allentown Hit-Run Crash Three people were hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash in Allentown Friday night, authorities said. Officers learned that the trio were pedestrians who were struck near North Dauphin Street and Allentown Drive around 10:35 p.m., Allentown police said in a Saturday release. Two of the victims were treated and released from an area hospital after suffering minor injures, police said.
