The sudden death of a 41-year-old audio engineer is sending shockwaves through the Atlantic City and Philadelphia music scene.
Matthew T. Martin, of Audubon, was heading east in Winslow Township when he ran off the road to the left and struck a tree in the center median around 6:45 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
Martin's car, a Honda SUV, went up in flames near milepost 36.9 in Winslow Township, and he died, Marchan said.

Missing Philly Teen May Be En Route To Atlantic City, Authorities Say
Philadelphia police are asking for the public's aid in locating a missing teen.
Kent Johnson, 17, was last seen around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, the department said. He was leaving his home on the 2000 block of South Hutchinson Street and said he was going to the library, according to police.
Officials said he may be with his girlfriend, whose name was not available Tuesday evening. He is also known to frequent the Atlantic City, New Jersey area, they added.

A South Jersey man who graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to work in TV journalism in Pennsylvania and Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities announced.
Cleve W. Bryan Jr. was charged Wednesday, Oct. 18 by police in Washington Township, Gloucester County with endangering the welfare of children by possessing child pornography, the department said.

Atlantic City police arrested a man and a woman following an armed robbery.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, at 9:34 a.m., patrol officers responded to Kentucky and Pacific Avenues in reference to a man who was stabbed multiple times.
Police found the victim, 30, of Philadelphia, PA, suffering from serious injuries and bleeding profusely from an arm wound.

Atlantic City's Island Waterpark Delays Grand Opening
ISLANS Waterpark in Atlantic City has delayed its grand opening.
It had been set to open on Friday, June 30.
Brian Moriarty, a spokesperson for the waterpark, didn’t specify when the new opening date will be. He also did not give a reason for the delay.
The park’s social media pages advertised the opening date of Friday as recently as Wednesday.
The $100 million, 120,000-square-foot water park will feature a dozen slides, pools, a 1,000-square-foot surf simulator and a 6,500-square-foot lazy river. It’s part of the Showboat Atlantic City Hotel, which Blatstein also owns.

A predator from Louisiana who drove 2,700 miles roundtrip for sex with an underage Jersey Shore girl was captured when he flew back for more, federal authorities said.
Spencer William-Wayne Caudle, 34, began grooming the 14-year-old victim through the Whisper app in April, a complaint on file in U.S. District Court in Trenton alleges.
Although he expressed concern about ending up on TV's “To Catch a Predator,” Caudle drove to Toms River and “committed sexual acts on the victim” on May 27, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

A pair of men were charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses during a traffic stop, authorities said.
On Thursday, May 25 at 12:35 p.m., Atlantic City Detectives Christopher Dodson and Eric Evans conducted a motor vehicle stop at Tennessee and Pacific avenues.
During the stop, K9 Officer Michael Braxton and his K9 partner, Ryker, responded as back up.

A Montgomery County woman who has not been seen since late last month is believed by authorities to be "endangered," and police are asking residents to keep an eye out.
Christi Troiano, 56, of Souderton, was reported missing by family members on April 25, borough police wrote in a release.
