Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Young Teen Left For Dead In Columbia Parking Lot A 15-year-old boy is recovering after being shot multiple times in Columbia, authorities say. Howard County police are investigating the incident after reports of a shooting in a parking lot of the 10400 block of Hickory Ridge Road was reported around 2 a.m., Thursday, April 6. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 15-year-old boy who had been shot several times. Medics arrived and rushed the boy to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was stabilized.
