Police Officer Shoots Dog In North Philadelphia: Officials A Philadelphia police officer shot a pit bull while it attacked a pomeranian in the city's West Oak Lane neighborhood last Wednesday, April 17, according to authorities.  Police said the officer was called to the 2011 block of Eastburn Avenue around 8 a.m., where she "observed a large Pitbull dog attacking a Pomeranian on the sidewalk." Victim Found With Gunshot Wound To Head In Philadelphia: Report A 32-year-old man was shot dead on a Philadelphia street in the early morning hours on Thursday, Oct. 13, according to a report by 6ABC. The victim, who has not yet been publicly identified, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the head along the 3200 block of West Cheltenham Avenue in West Oak Lane at around 3 a.m., the outlet wrote.  Sixteen spent shell casings were found nearby, the report added. The case remains under investigation by Philadelphia police.  Click here for the full story from 6ABC.

Man Wanted For Murder In Upper Darby, Police Say Police in Delaware County are seeking the public's help in locating a wanted man. Abdul Rafi Muhsin is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in connection with an incident that happened in May, Upper Darby police said. Muhsin is known to frequent parts of Philadelphia, particularly the Germantown/Mount Airy/West Oak Lane sections, police said.
