Driver Arrested For Bensalem Fatal Hit-Run Of 14-Year-Old Boy
Six months after a 14-year-old was hit and killed crossing Street Road in Bensalem, police say they caught the driver who fled the scene. James Shulski, 35, of Trevose, surrendered to Bensalem police on Tuesday, Jan. 23, authorities said in a release. Investigators say the teen victim was struck near the Route 1 overpass around 10:15 p.m. on July 6. A car wreck shut down a portion of Route 1 in East Marlborough Township on Tuesday afternoon, officials told Daily Voice. The northbound lanes of the Route 1 bypass near the Route 82/Unionville Road overpass were briefly closed on Nov. 21, Chester County authorities said. The roadway was reopened by 4 p.m., they added. A man suspected of armed robbery in Philadelphia was found to be armed with a stolen gun when arrested in Bucks County on Tuesday, authorities said.
