West Philly Bar Shooting: 2 Injured, 1 Killed, Police Say Two people are hospitalized and one man is dead after a shooting at a West Philadelphia bar Thursday morning, Feb. 29, city police say.  It happened on the 4200 block of Lancaster Avenue around  2:45 a.m., according to PPD.  A 44-year-old man was shot once in the abdomen and taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he died at 3:30 a.m., authorities said.  A 44-year-old woman was hospitalized for a gunshot wound to the foot, and a 37-year-old man who is also considered a suspect was shot in the left hand, police said.  Both are in stable condition.  No weapons we…

Roy Trammell, 90, Missing Since October: Philadelphia PD Philadelphia police are searching for a missing senior.  Roy Trammell, 90, has not been seen since October 2023, according to detectives. He was last spotted on the 1700 block of French Street in North Philadelphia, authorities said.  Trammell is 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds with a thin build, police said. He has brown eyes, gray hair, a dark complexion, and a burn scar on his face.  He's known to frequent the 4100 block of Lancaster Avenue in the Powelton neighborhood of West Philly, authorities added.  Anyone with information is asked to call PPD's Central Detective…

Police ID Victim In Fatal Philadelphia Hit-Run Philadelphia police detectives are investigating after a woman was hit by two cars in a row and died Tuesday night.  It happened at the corner of 49th Street and Lancaster Avenue in Cathedral Park at about 8:20 p.m. on March 14, the department told Daily Voice.  Cobbs Creek resident Darlene Gaston, 58, was struck by a white Mitsubishi traveling west on Lancaster "at a high rate of speed," authorities said.
