Firefighter Charged In Colwyn Arson Fire, Court Docs Say A Yeadon Fire Company member is accused of starting a vehicle fire in Colwyn last Thursday, April 11, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Daily Voice.  Abner Roberts, 18, is charged with felony arson, risking catastrophe, and related counts, court records show.  The Darby Fire Company said it happened on the 200 block of South 2nd Street around 4:15 p.m. Thursday. 'DelCo's Mom', Longtime EMT Mary Ellis Dies After 'Valiant' Fight With Cancer The Delaware County community is mourning the loss of a woman known as "Delco's Mom," who died on Aug. 13 after a valiant fight with cancer. Born in Collingdale, Mary Theresa Ellis' 30-year journey in emergency services began when she was a volunteer at Collingdale Fire Company Ambulance followed by Darby Fire Company Ambulance before moving on to the Mercy-Fitzgerald Paramedics.
