Jermear Sudler, of Chester, has been accused of firing the shots that injured a victim near 9th and Tilghman Streets on Tuesday, March 22 around 8:30 a.m., Chester City police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Sudler was later identified as the shooter and was arrested in the 100 block of Kerlin Street around 2:30 p.m. that day, police said.
Sudler was remanded to George W. Hill Correctional Facility in lieu of $500,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday, April 6.
