Gun, Drug Charges For David Wells: Chester Police
Five pistols, two rifles, and at least four pounds of drugs were seized in a series of police raids at three properties in Chester last week, city police say.
Authorities served search warrants on the 1200 block of West 9th Street, the 1200 block of Keystone Road, and the 110 block of Pine Lane on Thursday, Jan. 25, the department said in a release.
Police said they confiscated:
A bag of cocaine
Four pounds of K2, or synthetic marijuana
$5,064 cash

US Marshals Nab Gunman Wanted In Deadly Shooting Near Widener University
Members of the US Marshals Service and local authorities arrested a gunman wanted in connection with a deadly shooting near Widener University, authorities said.
Jihad Perry, 43, of Chester, was arrested in New Castle, Delaware around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 16, Chester City police said. He was wanted on murder and gun charges, as well as state parole violations.
Police have yet to identify the victim shot and killed on the 1100 block of Hyatt Street and found at 14th and Potter Streets around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 5.

DelCo Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Chester City Shooting, Police Say
A 40-year-old Delaware County man was charged with attempted murder, among other offenses, in a Chester City shooting, authorities said.
Jermear Sudler, of Chester, has been accused of firing the shots that injured a victim near 9th and Tilghman Streets on Tuesday, March 22 around 8:30 a.m., Chester City police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Sudler was later identified as the shooter and was arrested in the 100 block of Kerlin Street around 2:30 p.m. that day, police said.

A Delaware County man was arrested Wednesday for beating a pedestrian after fatally striking him with his car and threatening to kill him, authorities said.
Jonathan Lee Autery, 46, of Chester, was charged with criminal homicide, first and third-degree murder, aggravated assault, homicide by vehicle, and possessing an instrument of crime, according to public court records.

South Jersey Fugitive Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teen Captured In Chester, PA
A New Jersey fugitive accused of sexually assaulting a minor was captured by law enforcement Monday in Chester, PA, authorities said.
An arrest warrant out of Burlington County, NJ was issued for Brandon M. Pelzer, 38, for the sexual assault of a minor between 13 and 16 years old, Chester City police said.
Pelzer was found on the 3100 block of West 3rd Street on Monday by a police officer and was taken into custody for processing, authorities said.
He was arraigned by District Justice Lee C. Grimes, and his bail was set a $250,000 cash.
