Pedestrian Dies After Luzerne County Wreck: Coroner A Hazleton man died from his injuries after being struck by a car on Saturday, March 16, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  Sixty-eight-year-old Michael A. Mumaw was hit by a car near the intersection of North Church Street and 8th Street around 8 p.m. on March 16, Coroner Daniel Buglio wrote in a release.  He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from multiple traumatic injuries on Sunday, March 31, officials said. Allentown Woman Dies Months After Route 22 Rollover Crash, Officials Say A driver who was ejected from her vehicle in a crash on Feb. 3 has died from her injuries, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office on Monday, April 1.  Iris Crystal Mercado, 37, died from multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said in a release. Her manner of death was accidental.  The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 South Whitehall on the night of Feb. 3, officials said. State police have said Mercado lost control of her Ford Focus and struck an embankment before the car rolled over and she was ejected.
