Three pipe bombs were brought to the Public Safety Building in Harrisburg and the "good samaritan" who found them on Cameron Street has been interviewed and released as of Wednesday, May 9, 2023, Harrisburg Director of Communications Matt Maisel told Daily Voice. PA Man Wanted For Burglary, Shooting Nabbed By US Marshals
A man wanted for a July shooting of a Harrisburg man was arrested by members of the Harrisburg Police and United States Marshals Service. Kuami Wright, 38, of Harrisburg, was arrested on an active criminal warrant in connection to a shooting on July 11, according to Harrisburg bureau of police. The shooting took place near reservoir park in the area of the first block of North 20th Street along Walnut Street around 2:15 p.m., as Daily Voice previously reported. Man Shot Near Reservoir Park In Harrisburg
One man is being treated for gunshot wounds after a shooting near a park in Harrisburg, according to area police. Harrisburg Police responded to the area of the 1st block of North 20th Street along Walnut Street for a report of shots fired on Sunday around 2:15 p.m. Upon arrival officers found a man on the street near the playground of the park with a gunshot wound suffering non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harrisburg Police at 717-558-6900.

3 Charged In Harrisburg SWAT Standoff: Woman Held Captive, Man Pistol Whipped
Three people were arrested in a SWAT standoff in which a woman was held captive, a man was pistol whipped and shots were fired, authorities in Harrisburg said. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Walnut Street on reports of shots fired around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, but police could not determine if a shooting had in fact occurred. Around 11 a.m., a woman told county dispatch she was being held captive by a man at a lounge on the 2300 block of Walnut Street, police said.
