Officers were called to the scene of a shooting at Evergreen and Swatara streets in Harrisburg on Nov. 16 around 11:40 p.m., where Jeramiah Beamon, 37, was found having suffered gunshot wounds, police said. Man Shot Dead In Central PA Street, Police Say A man was found shot dead on a central Pennsylvania street on Tuesday night, according to a release by police. Harrisburg Police were called to a reported shooting of a person in the area of Evergreen and Swatara streets in Harrisburg around 11:40 p.m., according to the release. Upon arrival police found a man, "suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). The male was pronounced deceased at the scene," as stated in the release. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Woman Shot In Harrisburg, Say Police A woman is in the hospital following a shooting in Harrisburg on Wednesday night, say area police. Harrisburg police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Swatara Street and Allison Hill neighborhood around 10:30 p.m., according to police. Upon arrival officers found a woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital. Her current status is unknown and her identity has not been made public.
