'Justice Delayed, Not Denied': Man Convicted For Bucks Mom's 1991 Murder
More than 30 years after she was found dead in her smoldering Bristol home, Robert Atkins was convicted for the murder of Joy Hibbs. Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. handed down a guilty verdict on Thursday, Feb. 1 following three days of testimony, said the Bucks District Attorney's Office. PA Man Who Filmed Sexual Abuse Of Toddler, Tweens Held On $20M Bond: DA
A Pennsylvania resident accused of sexually abusing multiple children and filming the acts is being held on a $20 million bond, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday, Nov. 28. Brian Nathaniel Harris, of Bristol Borough, faces more than 160 criminal charges — most of them felonies — related to sexual assault and child pornography dissemination, according to prosecutors. Former Bucks DA Who Doubled As Door Dash Driver Repays Taxpayers $8,500
A former Bucks County prosecutor who doubled as a Door Dash driver has repaid taxpayers nearly $8,500, CBS Philly reports. Gregg D. Shore resigned last month, following a demotion in March, after word spread that he was delivering food with Door Dash during his daytime shifts with the Bucks County District Attorney's office between October 2020 and February, DA Matt Weintraub previously said.
