Central PA Man Busted Sharing Child Porn Online, State Police Say

A Dauphin County man has been arrested for possessing and disseminating child pornography online, according to Pennsylvania state police.

Jeffery Dell, 25, of Highspire, was arrested on Tuesday.

State police received a tip from an online file sharing company and obtained a warrant to search his home in the 300 block of Poplar Street on July 15.

The arrest comes after the conclusion of a  more than two months long investigation.

Details from the investigation have not been released at the time of publication.

Dell has been charged with the following, according to court documents:

  • F2 Disseminating Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts (5 Counts)
  • F2 Child Pornography (5 Counts)
  • F3 Criminal Use Of Communication Facility (5 Counts)

He has been held in the Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

His preliminary hearing has been scheduled with Magisterial District Judge Kenneth A. Lenker on Oct. 5 at 3:15 p.m.
