It's official — 2023 is the era of Taylor Swift. That's according to a recently passed resolution from the Pennsylvania state House of Representatives, which lauds the Berks County native as having "transcended the role of pop star." Philadelphia Police Name Officer Killed In Airport Shooting (

Two Philadelphia police officers were shot — one fatally — while in the parking garage at the Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday night. Officer Richard Mendez, a 50-year-old with 22 years in the department, was hit multiple times and died from his wounds, PPD brass said at a Friday evening press conference. Officer Raul Ortiz, 60, was hit once in the arm and is in stable condition at Jefferson Hospital, according to Interim Commissioner John Stanford.
