Pedestrian 'Extremely Critical' After North Philly Hit-Run: PD A pedestrian suffered fractures to their skull and hips after being struck in a hit-and-run in Philadelphia on Friday night, Dec. 29, according to city police.  Authorities said the victim was crossing North Broad Street at West Susquehanna Avenue around 9:35 p.m. when they were hit by a dark-colored Nissan.  The victim was hospitalized in "extremely critical condition" with "severe injuries," PPD said.  The Nissan is said to be dark gray with a sunroof and possible damage to its front end. Senior Killed In Nazareth Crash ID'd By Coroner Authorities have named the 87-year-old who died in a car accident in Upper Nazareth on Wednesday, Dec. 20.  Lorraine Grider of Moore Township was seriously hurt in a wreck and taken to St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus in Bethlehem where she died from multiple blunt force injuries, the Northampton County Coroner's Office said.  The manner of her death was ruled accidental, officials added. Driver Killed In Head-On Collision In North Philadelphia, Police Say One person is dead after two cars collided on a North Philadelphia street on Tuesday, Dec. 12, authorities told Daily Voice.  A 55-year-old man was going south on the 5000 block of Belfield Avenue around noon when his car struck an oncoming driver head-on, police said.  The 55-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, according to officials. Police said the other driver was taken to Jefferson Einstein Hospital but their condition was unclear.  Authorities did not name the fatally injured victim.
