Beloved PA Mom Killed In Fiery Head-On Crash Was 'Ray Of Sunshine'
A Pennsylvania mom who died in a fiery head-on crash is being remembered by loved ones as a "ray of sunshine."
Haley Brooks, 23, was behind the wheel of a car that traveled into the opposite lane and struck a second vehicle before it went up in flames on the 1100 block of North Grange Avenue in Worcester Township around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Brooks, of Norristown, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. It was not immediately known whether the second driver, a 51-year-old Gilbertsville woman, had suffered any serious injuries.

Lehigh Valley Sunday school teacher and devoted wife and mother Christy Snyder-Padula Smith died unexpectedly at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono on Monday, Aug. 15. She was 29.
Born in Allentown, Christy attended Northampton High School, where she played softball, marched and played flute in band, and danced with Steps in Time of Allentown before graduating in 2011, her obituary says.
Christy then went on to attend Northampton Community College and play softball for Northampton AA and Allen Township, according to her memorial.

A mass stabbing at a home in York has left a 34-year-old woman and a 5-year-old child dead on Monday, August 22, authorities say.
Pennsylvania state police were called to the stabbing in Firebox Court, Hopewell Township, at 7:19 p.m. according to a release the following morning.
