A Philadelphia woman is dead after police say she was struck in a hit-and-run accident on a city street last week. Tamarah Savage, 35, was crossing North Broad Street on the 2700 block around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 6 when she was hit, city police said. The driver fled north up Broad Street while first responders declared Savage dead at the scene minutes later, according to the department. The murder-suicide victims found in a Central Pennsylvania home over the weekend have been identified as a recently engaged couple. Timothy Hanford, 49, is believed to have fatally shot his fiance, Carolyn (Hand) Eash, 57, in a home on the 800 block of Grantham Road in Upper Allen Township, Mechanicsburg, before turning the gun on himself, local officials said.
