A Philadelphia resident wanted in Montgomery County led police in Dauphin County on a high-speed chase, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Jan. 26. An armed robbery spree in Pennsylvania ended with charges for two residents, with more charges expected for similar crimes in New Jersey, authorities said. Officers investigating four armed robberies in Swatara Township between Saturday, Oct. 14 and Wednesday, Oct. 25 were made aware that a suspect had just fled their jurisdiction after an additional robbery on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Three teens have been arrested and a fourth is at large following the assault and robbery of a pizza delivery person in Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, police announced on July 20, 2023. The delivery person was at someone's home dropping off pizzas when the "strong-arm robbery" took place in the 7400 block of Clearfield Street, Swatara Township, area police said. A high school senior was killed by a relative in a crash on Sunday, according to Swatara Township police. Sajan Basnet, 22, Harrisburg, has been charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and related charges following the head-on crash.
